The Calligraphy Guild of Oklahoma – Tulsa was founded in Tulsa in 1979, by Francis J. Mitchell. The guild’s purpose is to share in the appreciation of calligraphy as an art and craft, promoting studies of its history and applications, and to carry out educational programs for its members.
Regular monthly meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month, except June, July & December, at the Tulsa Garden Center, 2435 South Peoria, Tulsa, OK. Meetings begin at 6:30 p.m., focused on calligraphy and related arts, with programs, demonstrations, discussions and displays. Members share their skills, along with new techniques and ideas.
Guests are always welcome to see what fun we have, and to learn more about classes, workshops, and other learning opportunities. No experience is necessary. If you have questions, contact CGO on Facebook or by email at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
